Marante Landscape is a studio founded by Eduardo Rodríguez de Bethencourt and Rocío Muñoz de Verger, two professionals who share the same sensitivity towards landscape and a rigorous way of understanding each project.

Our practice brings together landscape design, exterior design and full project execution under one creative direction, accompanying each project from initial analysis to materialisation.

We work in Spain and the Dominican Republic, adapting each intervention to the climatic, cultural and landscape conditions of every place.

Eduardo Rodríguez de Bethencourt

Founding partner and Landscape Design Lead

With more than three decades devoted to landscape design and gardening, Eduardo has built his career by combining design, execution and the maintenance of outdoor spaces. Over the years he has led the creation of hundreds of gardens for private homes, companies and institutions, consolidating an approach that brings together technical knowledge, construction experience and a deep understanding of vegetation and its evolution. His experience covers every stage of the project, from the initial analysis of the place and the definition of the landscape strategy to execution and follow-up, always with the aim of creating lasting landscapes that remain coherent with the architecture around them. Collaboration with architects, interior designers and landscape designers has been a constant throughout his professional career. At MARANTE LANDSCAPE he leads the landscape development of each project, bringing a calm and rigorous perspective that understands the garden as a living organism, capable of evolving over time and enriching the experience of those who inhabit it.

Rocío Muñoz de Verger

Founding partner and Exterior Design Lead

An interior designer with 30 years of experience in interior and exterior design and decoration, Rocío remembers her first role as an intern at the studio of Pascua Ortega, a major reference in Spanish decoration since the 1970s. That experience marked the beginning of a long professional path in which she had the opportunity to work with other studios, including that of the Italian architect Teresa Sapey, before joining the studio of the renowned Luisa Olazábal and later founding her own practice. With a strong sensitivity to landscape and a holistic vision for integrating every element of a project, she begins this new chapter with MARANTE LANDSCAPE to design and furnish warm outdoor spaces made to be lived in. Rocío is energetic, approachable and warm in her relationship with clients.
